The Journey Within

The Journey Within

Get Excited & Stay Excited™!  I have been doing a great deal of reading and soul searching here lately.  Pretty much I have been taking a journey within myself and it has led me to have many “realizations” after dealing with internal turmoil for so many years.  While I have not reached my destination, I have realized that I have to trust and accept that what God or the Universe has for me, is for me.  I had to realize that there is a greater plan for my life.  I had to realize that it is really time to begin my own journey of self-discovery.  I need to connect with who I am now in this present so that I can embrace what I am experiencing and truly enjoy my life.  In order to thrive and not just survive, I have to embrace my reality and learn to live a life of abundance.

As I was in deep thought, I picked up a book that I have been reading called “Walking With The WISE Entrepreneur” which is a collection of writings from many inspirational mentors and millionaires.  One of the sections I read that inspired this message I’m sharing today was “Live The Life You Have Imagined” by Lynn Shepherd.  Her section was very powerful and really made me examine myself and question myself if I was truly ready to live the life I have imagined.  Here is an excerpt of what Lynn had to say:

The Journey Within

Wanting to do something and knowing how to do it are two very different things.  To change my life, I realized I had to understand who I was now and how I wanted to live the rest of my life.  I had spent a lifetime making a living and now I want to spend the rest of my life making a difference.

Shifting my perspective, I realized my entire life had been perfect.  Every experience, good or bad, has created the person I am today.  Don’t get me wrong, there are many lessons I would have preferred not to learn, but in hindsight, each one has contributed to my personal growth.  I am a culmination of life experiences and this is my gift to share.

Becoming aware of my values and what I wanted, helped build the foundation on which all my decisions rested. Presented with choices, I immediately knew these choices would help or hinder my journey to living a life of abundance. This same process can be applied to the choices you make about your career, your relationships, your money or your health.

Are you ready to live the life you have imagined? I can tell you from personal experience, it is possible. This process will help guide you through whatever new chapter of life you might be experiencing.


Lynn was right with what she said.  I do believe we have to know and BUILD the foundation where all of our choices are rested.  If we do not have a solid foundation all that we do will crumble in life.  We must have the courage to change, we must have the strength to become aware of who we are and make the choice to get up and do what is necessary to live the life we’re destined to live.

Taking The Journey Within

I know that my recent life experiences have made me realize that I hold all the cards and that if it is to be, it is up to me.  I don’t know about you… but I chose to be successful, I chose to live a life full of happiness, wealth, prosperity and excellent health.  I am ready to begin my journey within and truly discover who I am and HOW I am going to live the life I am meant to live.  I must say I cannot wait to reach that destination… how about you?

Protect Your Dreams At All Costs

Hi My Awesome Friend,

I was truly inspired this morning to share this message with you today in both video and with written words….

Protect Your Dreams At ALL Costs.

Do you have a dream which you would like to pursue? It can be anything, small dreams or big dreams…? Most importantly, my friend, HOW MUCH do you want this dream of yours? Ask yourself this important question… Are you doing whatever it takes to protect and hold your dream(s) as close as possible to yourself?

Don’t ever let someone tell you that you can’t do something.  People often bring you down because they are down.  Things in life you attract with the ways of your mind.  Those things will be there to test you… to distract you away from your dream so that you will lose sight of what you desire and dream about most.  But I’m here to tell you, my friend, When you want something… Go For It.  I know that when you want something bad enough, you’ll do no matter what it takes to accomplish that.  So apply that to protecting your dreams.  Protect your dreams at all costs.

He said to his son,

“Don’t ever let somebody tell you that you can’t do something.  Not even me.  You got a dream, you gotta protect it.  People can’t do it themselves, they want to tell you,  You can’t do it. You want something, Go Get It.  Period.”


This one scene inspired me so much and I was led to share this with you today.

The most important thing that you can take away from this is that nobody has the power to take away your dreams unless you give it to them.  So stop giving your power and your dreams away.  You must live your dreams to fulfill your purpose in life.  Making your dreams reality is one of the most precious gifts that we are blessed with.  Hold on tight to your dreams and never let them go…EVER… no matter what it takes.

Those dreams are YOURS and no one else’s.

Why Is Personal Development Important?

Picture this… a life without growth.  Nothing moves.  Everything remains the same, remains constant.  Boring huh?  There are many people who choose not to embark in personal growth because of fear, insecurity, personal situations or outside interferences, etc.  However, in challenging situations or times of despair, those very situations can actually bring out unconscious growth.  The unconscious growth tends to occur when we are faced with new challenges.

Learning, developing & growing are all important aspects that embody personal development.  We must learn all that we are capable of learning.  A life without personal development would not only be boring and disappointing, but full of resentment and discontentment.  I don’t know about you, but that is not how I see my life or envisioned our world being.

Personal development is extremely important.  It enables us to have a better quality of life spiritually, physically, mentally and emotionally.  It provides us with the opportunity to create our own universe and live our lives to our highest potential.  Personal development is the key that unlocks the door to satisfaction of accomplishment, self growth, self understanding and self improvement.

So as we learn, we develop.  As we develop, we grow.  As we grow, we evolve to our fullest potential.
